Welcome to Academic Association, a place for those who is intrested in Academic Art!
Academic Ridingart
Academic Ridingart is a mark/name given by
Bent Branderup. He has studied by the masters of the way of riding that was in the old days; when you was riding on one hand and that you should build up the horse so it would hold for many years in combat.
To have the horse's strengh in just one hand you must than first control yourself; your body and soul.
To learn is to take it into your heart and see the horse's soul and to be connected with it; as to be a centaur, half man, half horse.
Note
I do not say that dressage or jumping is something bad. I like dressage; it's nowtimes art of riding and jumping is also an art, as so is gymnkana and other sports. All horsepeople or sports are their own indiviual persons and you all have your gift. I walk this way and I do not try to force anybody into this way I have choosen. Those who wants to share their experience with me are welcome, what matter sport.
I have learn to learn everything, anytime. We all have the knowledge.
As Bent Branderup said once:
"I only hope that my students will carry on this knowledge."
I hope you also understand and wants to learn from others and feel a connection to the old time that dissapeared once.
